1. Agreement & Acceptance

Welcome to HotBox Events DMV LLC ("HotBox," "we," "us," or "our"). This website and all related event communications (the "Site") are operated by HotBox Events DMV LLC, a private event organization based in the Washington D.C. Metropolitan Area (Maryland, Virginia, and the District of Columbia).

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Site and your attendance at any HotBox event. Your use of this Site, acceptance of any event invitation, purchase of an event ticket, or physical attendance at any HotBox event constitutes your full and unconditional acceptance of these Terms. These Terms apply every time you attend — not just the first time.

HotBox hosts private, invitation-only adult social gatherings for masculine-presenting, 21+ individuals. All guests must present a valid, government-issued photo ID confirming they are 21 years of age or older. Guests who cannot verify their age will be denied entry without refund.

You agree not to share any information, addresses, times, or details from this website with anyone who has not been personally invited. Unauthorized disclosure of event information is a violation of these Terms and may result in permanent revocation of all future invitations.

2. Private Event — Right of Admission

HotBox events are strictly private gatherings. HotBox Events DMV LLC reserves the absolute right, in its sole and unreviewable discretion, to refuse entry to, or remove from the premises, any individual at any time — before, during, or after an event — for any reason or no reason at all, including but not limited to:

• Failure to present valid government-issued ID confirming age 21+
• Failure to meet the entry standards communicated in advance
• Conduct deemed disruptive, unsafe, or inconsistent with the event's standards
• Prior violations of these Terms or event rules
• Any other reason determined solely by HotBox staff

Refusal of entry or removal from an event does not entitle any guest to a refund, explanation, or any form of compensation. No guest has a vested right to attend any HotBox event.

3. Assumption of Risk

PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY — IT AFFECTS YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS.

By attending any HotBox event, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with your attendance, including but not limited to:

• Personal injury, bodily harm, or death
• Property damage, loss, or theft
• Exposure to communicable diseases, sexually transmitted infections (STIs), or other health conditions
• Interaction with other guests, including physical contact of any nature
• Accidents occurring at the venue, in transit to or from the venue, or in connection with the event
• Any condition of the venue premises, including structural, environmental, or safety conditions

You acknowledge that HotBox Events DMV LLC does not own, operate, or control the venues at which events are held, and assumes no liability for the physical condition, safety, or maintenance of any venue.

You further acknowledge that your attendance is entirely voluntary and that you are making a free and informed choice to attend with full awareness of the risks involved.

4. Release of Liability & Hold Harmless

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you hereby release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue HotBox Events DMV LLC, its organizers, officers, employees, agents, contractors, volunteers, affiliated persons, and venue owners (collectively, "Released Parties") from any and all claims, demands, actions, causes of action, damages, losses, costs, liabilities, and expenses of any kind — whether arising in contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or otherwise — in connection with:

• Your attendance at or travel to/from any HotBox event
• Your interaction with any other guest, including consensual physical contact
• Any illness, injury, or health outcome you experience before, during, or after an event
• Loss or damage to personal property
• The acts or omissions of other guests
• Any condition of the event venue

This release is intended to be as broad as legally permissible. If any portion is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force.

5. Health Acknowledgment & Disclaimer

HotBox events are adult social gatherings where physical interaction between consenting adults may occur. By attending, you acknowledge and represent the following:

• You are attending voluntarily and in good physical health
• You understand that close physical contact carries inherent health risks, including exposure to sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and communicable diseases
• You accept full personal responsibility for any health risks you assume through your own conduct at the event
• You have not been instructed or required by any health authority to isolate or quarantine

Any health resources, links, or information provided on this Site or at our events — including information about STI testing, PrEP, DoxyPEP, or other preventative care — are provided for informational purposes only as a courtesy to our community. This information does not constitute medical advice and should not be relied upon as a substitute for professional medical consultation, diagnosis, or treatment. HotBox Events DMV LLC is not a medical provider and makes no representations regarding the accuracy, completeness, or currency of any health information provided.

You agree to consult a qualified healthcare professional for all medical questions and decisions. HotBox Events DMV LLC expressly disclaims all liability for any health outcome connected with your attendance at our events.

6. Consensual Adult Activities

HotBox events may involve consensual adult social and physical activities between guests. All such interactions occur exclusively between consenting adults acting entirely of their own free will. HotBox Events DMV LLC does not organize, direct, facilitate, supervise, or encourage any sexual or physical activity between guests.

By attending, you agree that:

• Any physical interaction you engage in is entirely voluntary, consensual, and occurs between you and other adult guests acting independently
• HotBox Events DMV LLC bears no responsibility whatsoever for any interaction — wanted or unwanted — that occurs between guests
• You will immediately report any non-consensual conduct to event staff
• You will not hold HotBox Events DMV LLC liable for the conduct of any other guest

Any guest engaging in non-consensual conduct will be immediately removed from the event and may be subject to criminal prosecution. HotBox Events DMV LLC cooperates fully with law enforcement investigations.

7. No Recording Policy — Strict Enforcement

Photography, video recording, audio recording, livestreaming, or any other form of digital or analog capture of persons, spaces, or activities at any HotBox event is strictly and absolutely prohibited without the prior written consent of both HotBox Events DMV LLC and every identifiable person captured.

This prohibition applies to all personal devices including smartphones, cameras, wearables, and any other recording-capable technology. Guests are required to keep devices stored and not visible during the event.

Any guest found recording, attempting to record, or in possession of recording footage from a HotBox event will:

• Be immediately and permanently removed from the premises without refund
• Be permanently banned from all future HotBox events
• Be held personally liable for any privacy violation, emotional distress, reputational harm, or other damages suffered by any person captured
• Be subject to civil legal action and, where applicable, criminal prosecution under applicable state and federal privacy laws

By attending, you expressly consent to having your recording devices inspected or confiscated by event staff if reasonable suspicion of unauthorized recording exists. You waive any claim for damages arising from such inspection or confiscation.

Any person who posts, shares, distributes, or causes the distribution of unauthorized recordings — whether or not they were present at the event — will be held fully liable to the maximum extent permitted by law.

8. Personal Property

HotBox Events DMV LLC assumes no responsibility for any personal property brought to an event, including but not limited to clothing, wallets, phones, keys, bags, or valuables of any kind. Guests attend at their own risk with respect to personal property.

Any items left behind at a venue may be discarded. HotBox Events DMV LLC is not liable for theft, loss, or damage to personal property at any event or venue.

9. Conduct, Substances & Event Rules

All guests are expected to behave respectfully toward other guests and staff at all times. Harassment, intimidation, threatening behavior, or conduct that endangers the safety or comfort of others is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate removal.

Possession or use of illegal substances at HotBox events is prohibited. Guests who violate applicable laws while on or near the event premises do so entirely at their own risk and legal liability. HotBox Events DMV LLC is not responsible for the conduct of guests with respect to controlled substances and expressly disclaims all liability in connection therewith.

HotBox Events DMV LLC reserves the right to revoke any guest's invitation — current or future — at any time, for any or no reason, without prior notice and without refund.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless HotBox Events DMV LLC and all Released Parties (as defined in Section 4) from and against any and all claims, demands, suits, proceedings, liabilities, judgments, losses, damages, expenses, and costs (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in any way related to:

• Your attendance at any HotBox event
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any applicable law, regulation, or third-party rights
• Your conduct toward other guests, venue staff, or any third party
• Any unauthorized recording or distribution of event content
• Any disclosure of confidential event information

11. Electronic Communications

Visiting this website or communicating with HotBox Events DMV via email (hotboxevents@yahoo.com) or through social media constitutes electronic communications. You consent to receive electronic communications and agree that all agreements, notices, and disclosures provided electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.

12. Intellectual Property

All content on this Site — including text, graphics, logos, images, and their compilation — is the property of HotBox Events DMV LLC or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and view this Site for personal, non-commercial purposes only.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, or commercially exploit any content from this Site without prior written consent from HotBox Events DMV LLC.

13. Links to Third-Party Sites

This Site may contain links to external websites. HotBox Events DMV LLC has no control over such sites and is not responsible for their content, accuracy, or privacy practices. Inclusion of any link does not imply endorsement. You access third-party sites at your own risk.

14. Liability Disclaimer

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, HOTBOX EVENTS DMV LLC AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION DAMAGES FOR PERSONAL INJURY, BODILY HARM, DEATH, LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF GOODWILL, OR ANY OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH (A) YOUR ATTENDANCE AT ANY HOTBOX EVENT, (B) YOUR USE OF THIS SITE, (C) THE CONDUCT OF ANY OTHER GUEST OR THIRD PARTY, OR (D) ANY UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO OR USE OF OUR SYSTEMS. IN NO EVENT SHALL THE TOTAL LIABILITY OF HOTBOX EVENTS DMV LLC TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM EXCEED ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100.00). THE FOREGOING LIMITATIONS APPLY REGARDLESS OF THE THEORY OF LIABILITY AND EVEN IF HOTBOX EVENTS DMV LLC HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATION OF LIABILITY FOR PERSONAL INJURY; IN SUCH JURISDICTIONS, LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

15. Arbitration & Dispute Resolution

Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms, any event, or your relationship with HotBox Events DMV LLC shall be resolved exclusively through final and binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, with a single neutral arbitrator, in the Washington D.C. Metropolitan Area or via remote hearing.

You waive your right to a jury trial and to participate in a class action. All arbitration proceedings shall be conducted on an individual basis only. The arbitrator's award shall be final and may be entered as a judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, either party may seek emergency injunctive or equitable relief from a court of competent jurisdiction to prevent irreparable harm.

16. Class Action Waiver

YOU AND HOTBOX EVENTS DMV LLC AGREE THAT EACH MAY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST THE OTHER ONLY IN YOUR OR ITS INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY, AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS, COLLECTIVE, CONSOLIDATED, PRIVATE ATTORNEY GENERAL, OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING. FURTHER, UNLESS BOTH YOU AND HOTBOX EVENTS DMV LLC AGREE OTHERWISE, THE ARBITRATOR MAY NOT CONSOLIDATE MORE THAN ONE PERSON'S CLAIMS AND MAY NOT OTHERWISE PRESIDE OVER ANY FORM OF A REPRESENTATIVE OR CLASS PROCEEDING.

17. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms and any dispute arising hereunder shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. To the extent that any matter must be resolved by a court (rather than arbitration), you irrevocably consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Prince George's County or Montgomery County, Maryland.

18. Individuals Under 21

HotBox Events DMV LLC does not knowingly collect information from persons under the age of 21. This Site and all HotBox events are intended exclusively for adults aged 21 and older. If you are under 21, you may not use this Site or attend any event under any circumstances, including with the permission of a parent or guardian.

19. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held by a court or arbitrator of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, such provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and all remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision.

20. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with any event-specific rules or policies communicated at the time of invitation, constitute the entire agreement between you and HotBox Events DMV LLC regarding your attendance at events and use of this Site, and supersede all prior and contemporaneous understandings, agreements, representations, and warranties, whether written or oral.

21. Changes to Terms

HotBox Events DMV LLC reserves the right to update these Terms at any time in its sole discretion. The most current version will be posted on this Site with the updated date. Your continued attendance at events after any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically.

22. Termination & Access Restriction

HotBox Events DMV LLC reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to terminate your access to this Site or revoke your invitation status at any time, without prior notice or liability. All provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination — including Sections 3 (Assumption of Risk), 4 (Release of Liability), 6 (Consensual Adult Activities), 7 (No Recording), 10 (Indemnification), 14 (Liability Disclaimer), and 15 (Arbitration) — shall survive.
